PCAP

The WiFi Coconut tools generate PCAP files. PCAP (or Packet CAPture) are a standard format for storing packets, used by dozens of tools.

In the PCAP file, each packet will have a radiotap header - the radiotap headers are normally placed by the kernel drivers, and for the coconut are placed by the userspace radio drivers. Radiotap is a standard format for recording antenna and signal data that is not part of the 802.11 packet.
